If any of you purchase software from Handango you may want to find another location to purchase from. I just read an article about how they closed the account of a developer so he couldn’t use his advertising credits with them. I don’t know about you but I certainly will not purchase from a company as unscrupulous as this and I am urging others not to either.
I just finished a fairly extensive writeup on my experience building a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and just want to make sure everyone sees it. The latest version of Ubuntu Linux has been released and is available for download. Ubuntu is currently my distro of choice for home use. It’s easy to install and there’s minimal (if any) configuration necessary once it’s installed. There’s a good support document with just about everything you would want to know about using Ubuntu Edgy. I also have a writeup on Edgy on my current laptop.
